the portal has been laying low for the past few months.. we had a gig at the now defunct Club 115 in late 2007.. in other news, Grego’s Purple Bee Studios has relocated to an expanded location in Lockhart, TX.. We’ve christened the new digs with some fresh Portal jams and all indications point to this being the place! the energy is perfect for sparking creative, and spontaneous jams of epic proportions.. portal style baby..

The Dallas Portal

the Portal has expanded! you can experience improvised grooves every Sunday night at the Green Elephant in Dallas.

Time2Fly Music approached us a few months back and asked the Gatekeeper and I how we felt about a Dallas Portal.. we thought – “why not?” the Portal is an idea, a collective, a frame of mind. Its open to anyone who seeks adventure and a way to break out of the mold.. its belongs to the moment.

btw: I’m excited to be making the trek up to D-Town on Oct 29th to sit in with the Dallas Portal.
